Gonna need a bigger stable

Sent the car back to Austec's for Mark Adams to apply the MBE updates he has discovered since my car was first mapped 18 months ago. They found a few more ponies
You may recall I did back to back RRs recently, when I said the car was off colour (and got jumped on by the boo boys). SRR read 403bhp and the following day at Austec's Open Day it was only showing 389bhp. Now putting out 414bhp at the fly (on Austec's rollers. Shall get it down to SRR ASAP)...cheers chaps
Not bad for a non Red Rose 4.5?
Downside is one of the driveshafts (I think thats right, the bit that goes to the rear wheel?) has snapped, so havent been able to drive it yet

How many miles has it done?? We had a snapped driveshaft too, though we managed to do it with lower torque than you
You know you've been getting the best from your Cerb when you shear a driveshaft.
edit: do you have the torque figures to hand??

BCA,
The results were very good indeed, much better than I expected. The main improvement has been in the smoothness of the power and torque curves, with hardly any humps or bumps at all. Once I have all the graphs scanned I'll put up a comparison post.
Seems like a good day for Cerbs.....well done on the figures Nick.

Great result Ben.
Thanks,
really though, it was nothing...
Seriously, I dont even own a Cerbera...
hell my own car hasnt even hit the rollers yet? and its power will be less than the Cerbs drivetrain losses...
but thanks all the same.(lol njw77 = nick)
Sorry Ben.
I meant Julian and njw77.
........that guinness is playing havoc with the eyes.

Cheers chaps
Will confirm the torque when I pick up the graphs next week.
I know Jools
I was planning on giving Charlie a bell to see if he could fit me in last minute, but events overtook me.
Come on Julian, post them up
The GT myth was dispelled when Mr Melling said that the early cars with GT stamped on the engine merely denoted that cars cars had billet cranks, as opposed to forged. My car isnt a GT car, although early on I may have mistakenly have suggested it may be(nothing like information, is there
)
Yes indeed and thankyou
Dont rub it in Ben, I am suitably embarrassed about my PH login as it is

Cheers Jon, good meeting you too at last
Parts finally in, collecting him on Saturday.
If only I could drive the cerb as well as I can the nitro r/c buggy, I'd be da man
Rob, they say a smack in the face often offends pal...on the other hand you do have a valid point. One less full english a week and I'll be gunning for those LWs out there
