She's gone.

A lad called Sam paid a deposit a few weeks ago and came to collect her today.

After 2 1/2 years it's a bit sad really. She only let me down a couple of times, slave cylinder, throttle cable, couple of other minor points.
I'll be back in a TVR at some point I'm sure but for now it's time to get semi-sensible and pay off my mortgage. I'll have another toy in springtime so I can do some trackdays but it won't be a GT.

Anyway, good luck Sam, I hope you enjoy her.

I'll still be floating about here trying to offer a bit of help now and again. Can't keep myself away.

Bummer, I hope you got a great deal of beer tokens for her.

I'm still not sensible, as I still have my mortgage. Hope to see you back soon.

The beer tokens were sufficient considering the current market.
I'm lucky in that my only debt is my mortgage so I figure that by tackling that then all my money thereafter will be play money.

kojak, you might see the car down your way as it's now in S. Yorkshire. Keep your eyes peeled

If anyone else is selling then hang in there. I had nothing for a long time then one weekend all hell broke loose and a whole boat load of people were phoning.

Hopefully Sam will look after the car as well as you had Andy, bet you were sorry to see her go but at least she hasen't gone far, you'll be able to sneak past and check on her now and again to see what she's up to, a bit like an ex'
