Headlamps out of synch

... with the on/off buttons. They switch on when red engine off button pressed and back off when engine on . Other than that, when engine running they work OK!!? I have unplugged the black box in the boot to stop the battery going flat but plugging it back in results in same problem. Any ideas?

SOunds like a back feed somewhere. Have you checked all the fuses?

Not sure, but check the headlight switching unit on top of the fuel tank in the boot hasnt burnt out. Its worth a try.
