Need to get some Toyos for the Cerb. Which to have:
T1-S (TVR fitment), or
T1-R (standard fitment)

TVR-specific sounds nice, but T1-R are the newer compound and tread pattern.

Would prefer Toyo-specific replies, not "have you tried the Nankang Ditchfinders..."

I opted for the T1-S tyres and found them an improvement on the worn So-2's but have not sampled the T1-R's to give a comparison.

BTW. I got them fitted and balanced for £669 just as a stick in the sand.

£669!
Presume you're running on 18s. I've got 16s and was thinking of <£400.

I went for T1-S (TVR fitment) on the rears to replace my SO2's, and found them to be a better tyre. Tyre size was 255x35x18 and cost me £140 each fitted and balanced.

T1-R have iirc a stiffer sidewall. I tried both and preferred the T1-S.

Just imo.
