Cerbera in Autocar today

TVR Cerbera is this week's "Caned but able" high mileage heroes car.

"...so explosively rapid no one on the magazine could quite believe it had 'only' 350bhp." [Autocar verified it WAS 350bhp]

Funnily enough, whilst trawling the web last week, I stumbled across Autocar's 1996 review of the then new 4.2. This made me smile :

The RR Cerb was second only to the Zonda for the standing quarter.

I found myself only last night begging for a can of petro land a match....

when it runs there is nothing like them... Fast, mad sounds and the looks it gets.... well nothing compares.

When it's broken it is the most frustrating thing in the world EVER !

Indeed pretty amazing . . . and even more amazing to see relative low priced Cerbs in classifieds . . . it's a classic!

Watching last TG: struggling Zonda doing some French rural roads makes you think . . . and the Cerb does have original lines that make a perfect rearview-mirror pic . . . for a short while ;-)
