What's wroung with yours Liam? Have you considered sending it off to be repaired? That company in wales recon them as well I believe.

it has a mind of its own. Im guessing when driving the temp should be aaround to 70ish deg mark? and when sat aroung between that and 90deg? mine decides to return to 0 when driving, and go to around 40-50 when stuck in traffic for long.

Yeah. Definitely something amiss there!

Mine reads between 80 and 85 unless sitting in traffic in which case it will hit 90 or 95 by which time the fan kicks in and doesn't let it get any higher.

yup! lol! ill stick my digi infrared temp gauge on it next time i take it out to check what its actually at!

emailed one of those breakers, he replied saying they always break when removing them (the capilliary bit) so they cant be arsed! monkeys!

Just had the second guage this year fitted. Never showed less than 75 and tried to wrap itself around the oil pressure guage when warmed up.
115 plus was a bit frightening the first time it happened. Trusty infrared thermometer showed all was well though.

that sounds about right for a twin gauge tbh. was that from tvr themselves? cheers!

The gauge is basically a Smiths Telemetrix gauge (£71.19) with TVR badges and custom colours if required. The colours add a little to the price obviously.
You can only get the TVR badged ones from TVR iirc but if you are not too bothered about a badge then you can get them direct from caigauge or a few other places.

oh right cheers! well dont really think 45quid extra for the letters tvr on it is really worth it!
