My 13 week tour of Iraq has come to an end and I will be enjoying the cold weather of the UK for the next four weeks. Grass Widow has sorted my Ride Drive Christmas present so I can have it in the first week of being at home.
One of the things that have helped this tour go by has been reading the threads in Piston Heads etc and I have learned a hell of a lot from the references in the search area of the site. The videos I downloaded have been great to watch and I now know the Surrey run back to front.
This may seem like a daft idea but has anybody made videos of their cars while doing repairs as a reference. Perhaps a video section on how to….etc would be something to think about. Not engine rebuilds etc but more of the simple things you read about in Piston Heads and when I say simple its only simple when you know how.

Am about to do the winter service on the Cerb. Plugs, new pots, and throttle setup. I could video that but do you really want to watch my backside as I climb all over the engine.
What you really want is the overtake manouver I performed recently where the car I was overtaking decided to suddenly speed us as I was overtaking, and at the same time waved me on. So like a div I floored it pulled in went round a corner only to see a camera van in front of me.
So I'm looking forward to a nice little christmas present and you know why this country doesn't deserve people like you to go out and fight for it

I work as a PSD for a company called Armor Group, you may have seen in the press that we are the new mercenaries. That I assure you is far from the truth and its something that grates the lads who work out here who are getting this country back on its feet.

I also work overseas usually 4 - 6 weeks in Siberia , Also looked seriously into Cerbera ownership , but am worried of leaving the car sat idle for 6 weeks ,
girlfreind doesn't drive...........and being Russian .....seeing how her countryfolk drive......would end up with very short cebera ownerhip !!!
have you encounterd any problems , battery ,trickle charge etc. leaving the car for so long

I drive the cerb when weather permits while c3ber is away, but its on trickle charge in a garage the rest of the time.

Since there are two of us PHs who work together the other being chris63 i think you could be onto a winner there.
Back to the videos: simple videos of how you do the odd thing would be great. Just look at the threads on battery changing etc etc.
