Are you meant to check the oil levels every day / every week or month? Tony what was it like on oil when you had her

Oil, water evey week. Although if I am going on a long run I do so before hand.

Steering fluid, washer fluid evey couple of weeks.

Agree with Extra....

It didnt seem to use much of anything (apart from fuel!) but always kept an eye on it.

I used to check both water and oil weekly - i had to because i had a leak in my radiator. Never seemed to use much oil though, but sometimes it was difficult to tell with the dipstick. Used to put a bit of oil in every two months or so just to be on the safe side.

I always check my tyre pressures weekly - they do tend to loose a few PSI after being stood for a while

I check mine everytime I go out in her. I suggest you do.

I know exactly where the levels/readings will be.

check your engine oil levels very regularily-from the man who has lost an engine due to oil starvation!
