hi all, went to a local motor factors to get a new battery for the old girl, mine is a standard 069 battery, asked what battery a tvr cerbera has fitted as standard and was told it has a 089 apparently more amps and different acid! does this sound correct,it was documented in the battery book (banner)which gave all the info, thanks andy
Type 069 and 072 seem to come up on the searches. I've a 072 on mine. Liam (Toady1) recently replaced his with a halfrauds 4 year guarantee battery. Find out the specs of the one they are suggesting and then compare them to the above mentioned specs.

I had an 069 when I replaced it I think as I couldn't find an 072 at the time (maybe it was the other way round).
Got huge cranking amps and could go 6 or 7 weeks without using it and still be able to start. It was a Lucas (i think) from the Discount Motors place in Leeds. I'm sure all the other sizes were the wrong size or had the terminals the wrong way round.
