Thanks for that guys, i managed to get the car with no clutch to Silverstone Performance after all that (20 miles with no clutch!!hmmm interesting!). Found out clutch slave cyl gone, plus once on ramp, steering geometry all out and need 4 new tyres, plus front discs knackered!!

I'd second Topcats but not sure if they are open in between xmas and new year, or indeed if they could fit you in at such short notice. Worth a try though
