Is this it? Or are we going for a 2 feet deep record this time round?

and here's today's view from it across fields towards Eastwell

Was out and about yesterday, in the Freelander but don't fancy it today - too many other stupid idiots out there - there was some nutter trying to get a Smart car alond one of the back lanes yesterday!

I took a walk down to Tesco's this morning to see what state the roads were in.

These were taken at 8:15 this morning

This is the Park Farm roundabout & the A2042 (with Tesco's on your right)

I'm going everywhere on foot today, unless there is an emergency (in which case I'll be taking the Volvo 740 (too many numpties on the road & the cheapest car I own & surprisingly controlable being rwd !))

You must be just north of Ashford Tim - I'm 10mins walk from Park Farm (so south)..... We should really meet up when this snow has gone !

Me too, It's my daily driver, no snow here but the last two nights when I've finished work it has been -6 and it has started first time.3am this morning it looked like it had been snowing, but it was just a hard frost.Ice warning light on red all the way home but it never put a foot wrong unlike my truck with ABS and traction control it still tried to put me in the sea between Maccynlyth and Towyn.I love The cerby and as I'm a united fan I think I will call it the Red Devil.
I will be out again after lunch as I have promised relatives and friends passenger rides, every day between now and the middle of jan.

I don't know what all the fuss is about in the UK. A couple of inches of snow in a corner of the country and its front page news on all the papers and tv news.

I've just returned from Lapland where it was -24C and we had at least 3 feet of new snow in a week. It was too cold for the salt to work, so they didn't use it. All the roads were covered in snow. Saw mostly 'normal' 2WD vehicles with winter tyres. People drove sensibly and everything carried on as normal.

My brother recently emigrated to Canada, in Montreal last week they had 420mm of snow, in one night..

And yet they carry on..

Here, 4.2mm of snow and the country stops!

I want proper snow... (but I'm in Worcestershire, and we don't really do snow here... )
