I have 2 or 3 18 inch spiders (wheels!) at home. So have probably sourced the full compliment now thanks to TVRParts.com. I cant resist the draw of spider wheels again desite the slight reduction in ride quality etc... (and I think they are essential for resale of the car later).

I will have 4 x tuscan fronts.

anyone fitted these themselves eg
Where do I get the wheel nuts (Jeep ?)
How do I grind the back ?
How do I get and fit rack bump stops for front?
(or shall I just get APM to sort?!).
I guess it is Toyos again (unless anyone has a pref for different tyres?) ?

Also - what is a set of 17inch RL7s that were refurbed a few months ago worth ? They come with Toyos albeit whilst the fronts are excellent the rears are nearing legal limit.

Opinions welcomed !
thanks
Gary

I may be interested in the RLs when you're ready to sell. I've been looking for a spare set of wheels to track with.

My maths suggests that it will cost me about £350 to swap from 17s to 18s based on the sale of 17s, that I would have needed 2 tyres anyway, that my Spiders were a good price, that TVRParts are helping etc....
Not too bad ! A good investment for future saleability, improved looks....
(subject to the existing spiders in my garage not being buckled).
