who services your car? Take it to them. They can set it up such that it can pass.

servicing is going to be done by TOPCATS, just a little way over just for an MOT. don't need a service yet, so i don't need to go over there...

The most local specialist to you is TVRFix over in Ewell (www.tvrfix.co.uk). Toby (the gaffer) owns a Griff and Pete is an ex-main dealer mechanic. Might be worth giving them a call.

Steve.

Hi Dean

I took mine to the MOT Place at Shannon Corner as I live in Raynes Park. They passed mine and asked that I take it for a blast first to clean the pipe out.

John

Also my horn works every now and again they just kept pressing until it worked.

is it the MOT station here?: www.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?lat=51.3994&l
re horn, needed it yesterday, very frustrating and a frantic twisting of the steering wheel to see if it was the ribbon cable. +

Hi
It will be the ribbon cable does the horn work after you have pressed the hazard button. I have to press the hazards very time I want to turn, use the wipers or the horn. I've just checked and yes it is the on the map. The guys did not even lift the car off the ground before paaing it.

Good luck

Hey you have the same lx prob as me. Sometimes I press hazards to bring indiators, horn, flash and wipers buttons back to life!!! Sometimes my aircon turns itself off. Dont think my issue is the ribbon. Lots of parts changed including flasher unit. What have you tried? Earths?

The horn is the only button that always works! A quick toot and that brings the other 3 buttons back online

Thats a shame - Topcats always do my MOT and service at the same time. How far off is your service? If anly a month or so, might be worth getting it done a bit early so that it co-incides with your MOT for the future
