Seperate Decat pipes and Peninsular Sport Pipes... 
Bud Start with Linked decats (improves / equalizes exhaust gas flow) with your standard back pipes and see what you think. The Linked decats will be quieter than normal decats. The noise level will be similar or slightly higher than your current set up (albeit a different type of noise, due to the slightly different exhaust gas flow), so if you then feel that you need more noise, you can have a set of sports pipes fitted at a later date.

Thanks Cyclone, will order these tomorrow, and the MBE chip too if Jools has one in stock. This should sort me out for the short term. Would be interested in the airbox mod you had done, and the shorter intake pipes at some point. I'm along was from Jools to have the emerald and mapping, I'll see if Jools will bring one to Surry on the 24th (Chipp) and plug it in to see the difference.

Linked decats and a standard back box, is only slightly louder than normal and only then at high throttle. You will be dissapointed if you want to set off car alarms.
I have a feeling I could get on any racetrack without silencer problems. I also hear my tappets at startup and warm, which I like.
No Cerb however, with any exahust system, has ever sounded like a V8

Standard Cerb sounds like a four cylinder motorcycle.
Linked decat sounds like an old british six in line.
Full sports with flames sounds like a waste of fuel and a come get me bell for every police car in a five mile radius

.I have non-linked de-cat as well as sport exhause back boxes...(not sure who's but fitted by Castle's by the last owner)
Given the car's a RR (so slight sound difference from the start) it's great, sounds something like a Harley V-twin at idle, Chainsaw at 4000 and like you have shotguns in under the car on over-run.
Oh and according to the guy's in the MX-5 on the way to the London Tunnel run the other weekend you get lots of flames to light up the dark.
I feel very comfortable with the sound now, not as offensive as some RV8 Sports exhausts I've heard that are just painfully loud, it just gives the Cerb the sound I think it should have had from the start. Individual.
