Just for once - a good Monday!
Discussion
As the title says, they are few and far between but today is a good Monday.
Having picked my car up on Sat' after 4 months of it sitting in my garage. It was a real treat, I'd forgotten the grin that a Cerb' creates.
Got home to find Evo on the doormat.
Spent Sunday re-colouring the passenger seat - which turned out far better that I could have hoped, now looks as good as new.
MOT this morning and it passed with flying colours.
So, all in all things are rosey in Kent.

did they test your emissions?
Yep, failed on the initial test but passed when we moved onto the model specific test, exactly the same thing happened on my Chim' 500 at the same test station.
The guy I use is a small provincial garage, whilst he's all computerised now, you can still be there when the MOTs being carried out, in fact I helped out perhaps more that the men from the ministry would have liked.

The way to pass an emissions test in a cerb is to take the engine to just over 3000 rpm when the guy asks you to keep it at 2000.
I've almost convinced myself that is why most Cerbs seems to have a characteristic flat spot at 3000. Only problem is jools seems to have been cutting back fuel rather than increasing it with his mapping I believe. Otherwise it would have fitted nicely.

Hi Steven,
Contact these guys: www.liquidleather.com/
I sent them a leather sample and the match is excellent. I recoloured the seat using an artists airbrush, and it's come up a treat.
