Why do Cerbera,s have 180mph speedos if.............

Mines an early 96 N plate.maybe they put the speedos in first before realising how fast they actually went???

My MX5 speedo only goes to 100MPH, yet it can do 125. My Smart speedo also only went to 80MPH yet the car did 110..... who knows

generally the 4.2s (certainly the early ones) had a 180 speedo and 4.5s a 220 (if I recall properly).
Some people retro fitted 4.5 speedos to 4.2s
