Griff and Chims fly up with the addition of a relay, just before the wire goes into the door. There is too much voltage drop through the wiring, the motor only sees 8 volts !!Maybe the same for yours, also the dreaded "hot start" has been cured with the same thing. Auto drop and auto closing cause a problem, but my Griff does it.

Have you tried silicone spraying the rubbers? Helps a bit. You can buy it in Halfords.

Only don't bother asking the sales staff to find it for you - I asked and he brought me a can of adhesive, when I said "wrong stuff" he insisted they didn't sell it. I found it myself 2 min later but couldn't find the "helpful" member of staff to give him a bit of training

Is it me ? or are all Halfords shops occupied by morons.

If you have an early car you may have the early black box. When TVR switched to the double-bubble door seal they apparently fitted an upgraded window black box that speeded up the windows and generally increased the load to help them lift against the greater drag. Mine are slow in comparison with others I've seen but I haven't got round to trying the later electronics. You could try swapping with a later car owners black box to see if it makes a difference?

That's incredibly honest of you!"

I'm imagining some one standing up at a "halfordsolic anonymous" meeting and blurting out "I worked in one between the age of 13 and 16, I'm a Halfordsolic, but I haven't worked in one for ten years".

I did take a lot od drugs as a teenager, and I've been under a lot of stress lately.
