Swap a sports exhaust for a standard one

Hi there
My new motor has a stainless steel Powerflow sports silencer(s) on it. I know it sounds lame, but its just too loud for the missus.
I will get some pictures of it next week and post them here. I was just wondering if anyone had a standard rear silencer that they would like to swap.
Would I be right in saying the 4.5 one is better than the original 4.2 and would it fit my 4.2?
If anyone would like to do a trade I am in the Swindon area.

I thought that was something rude at first but then worked it out.
Anyhow bit worried about same sort of thing at the moment, mines (still) in for big work and part of that was having sports exhaust fitted as mine was shot; just found out that one of the cats is gone as well so now "having" to go decat as well (well it is cheaper)...... am more than a bit concerned about what the reaction will be when it comes back next week.

Well, if anyone has a standard silencer that they wish to sell I'd be interested in that aswell.

What did you think I was trying to say!? Keep her occupied so the noise isn't an issue? Trouble is, the groaning from the passenger seat could prove distracting!
