Erratic idling?

I am new owner of Angusfaldo's Cerbera 4.5 (featured in the Surrey Rolling Road test)bought through James Agger (boy can he sell or what).Have had car since September and it has generally behaved save new wiper motor (under warranty). Housed in heated garage but left out one night and since then(particularly when cold) has been erratic when idling (sometimes even stalling)particularly when engine is cold. Can some of you with longer experience with this model tell me if this is typical? Not sure if this due to cold weather and cold engine?

On another matter, have any of you experimented with any injector cleaners with your petrol and and lubricant additives and if so could you please recommend.

Nitron shocks, do they make the car less nervous in road driving or is it mainly for the track? While I enjoy the twitchy nature of the beast (bolting horse)I was wondering of the Nitrons will engender greater confidence on the road? Wise heads advice please.

Thanks for all you contributors to this forum. It was a great help before making the plunge and buying the Cerbera. Hopefully it will be my turn to contribute once I have solved some the foibles of the 'mistress'.

Welcome. I would have the throttle pots checked first, i had a similar problem last year and it turned out to be one of the throttle pots was goosed.

welcome to the fold, cerbs suffer in winter on idle from cold, i have mine turned up to deal with it.

nitrons make the car much more planted and predictable. i would recommend them.

before you shell out for nitrons, check-out protec, they are less expensive and when set up by someone who knows the sketch they are fantastic.
