O.k o.k. maybe a bit dramatic title

I have a blast of cold air coming in from under the dash or by my knees or even maybe further down when I'm driving, its not the cold air vent I've duck taped it up, at 30 to 40 you can hardly feel it get up to motorway speeds (ahem) and after half an hour I can hardly feel my legs even with the heater on full blast (not sure if full blast can be used in the same sentence as a TVR Cerbera Heater).

If I get my hand down there it feels almost as though it is coming up the steering wheel shaft as it enters the bulkhead, but then sometimes it seems further up behind the dash - trying to do 70 whilst feeling around for where the air comes in is probably not the best thing - I did ask the missus to stick her head in to have a look and see where it was coming from but she hasn't spoken to me for days wimmen !!

Any help would be gratefully appreciated (for the draught not with the missus) and pointers before I mastik the entire bulkhead and seal things up that probably don't need sealing !!

Just to add to my other thread, that even when closed the cold vents still allow a certain amount of air to pass through. They are easy to pull apart, and should be easy to seal up.
