Hi all.......does any one know where i can get hold of a new front screen? Auto Glass don't have one and neither do RAC.....just wondered if anyone knew of one, lying around in a stock room somewhere etc??!! Becoming very frustrated with the insurance companys' stock answer of "they're on back order with no dates".

Cheers in advance.

May well be a factory part only!...in which case you'll have to order via an authorised TVR dealer...otherwise you could try either of these... www.bellhillgarage.co.uk/ or www.douglasvalley.co.uk/ two breakers who specialise in breaking quite a large number of TVR's.

Nick, Do you happen to know if the Cerberas wiring loom has the 'right-bits' in place to change over to a heated screen?...and do you have to switch the screen on when needed?

No, it's not heated.....does this mean it'll be easier to get hold of?!
It's a 98 R plate 4.5 if there's a difference.

Cheers.

I think I read here somewhere, that there was a change. Something to do with a change in the roofline, but not sure of year carried out, and if in fact, actually fact!

I had no trouble getting a screen for my car, and it was fitted perfectly by National Windscreens. The even changed the A post covers to carbon fibre ones!

There were changes, and from what they said it seems likely that the screen size changed. but maybe not. You friendly local dealer/specialist would doubtless know...

For the 2000 model year, lights, A pillars, roofline and seats were changed and lightweight bonnet, doors and bootlid were introduced on the Cerbera 4.5.

The cross member on the top of the screen was changed, but I dont think this effected the screen itself.
