AVO's or Nitrons

The supposed advantage of Nitrons is the much reduced "stiction" - they need very little effort to get them moving. This allows a much stiffer spring rate without compromising ride quality, as little bumps can still be soaked up. In practice I just know they work bloody well on my Chim, though mine are the early type and quite noisy.

IIRC 2 of my most local indies have their 'own' Gaz sets (different set ups maybe?). And also Im sure I read somewhere that there is an official TVRCC Gaz setup? With gold 'bling' springs and everything
What other make is being tested? I'll be doing my suspension soon and something just don't sit right with me fitting something that sounds like a brand of drain cleaner.
Come to think of it they are all named a bit weird.
Spax - 'nuff said. One letter out on the type of people who buy them.
Protech - Sounds like a condom manufacturer.
Gaz - Probably founded by a guy named Gary. Instantly suspicious.
Avo - Made by Avon but they dropped the 'N' in a cost saving exercise.
Nitrons - As mentioned. Cleans drains smoothly.
Ohlins - Sounds like an expression of dissappointment when you say it.

Just to clarify, there are 4 Gaz kits on the market.
1) Nickel plated Steel kit which you can buy most places
2) The TVRCC Composite kit, which is part alloy
2) Full Alloy kit, available from TVR car parts
4) Double adjustable alloy kit, TVR Car Parts again.
All the kits are valved and sprung Cerbera specific, following testing by highly regarded Indy's

Have a word with Joolz (trackcar - www.track-car-solutions.co.uk ) regarding all your needs (Nitrons/remapping etc). He will advise you accordingly. Not sure how much you know about Joolz, but he is Mr cerbera himself. There are not many that know more about them than him. Do a search on here and see.
