Just had my car base mapped at Austec and got 347bhp

Its a 4.2 with sports exhaust.

Is that about right?

Yes, that's about right what torque did you make.
I guess that is flywheel power.

Power sounds about right: On the same rolling road, our standard '97 4.2 made 284 BHP 294 LbFt at the wheels. I'm not a great believer in flywheel figures.

not sure of the torque as I haven't seen the sheet yet, just got a call from Alex at Austec and she gave me the figure. Apparently the fueling was spot on which is good to hear.

347 is good .. I've never seen more than 6bhp gained from a mapped 4.2 that's in otherwise good condition .. so that hp figure is really just about bang on the money.
