sensor for hand brake

Hand my hand brake sorted at Garage. was fine but now even when hand brake is defo off, light is still on, you can put some weight on hand brake and light goes out.

so the question is rather then me ripping car to bits, does anyone know where the sensor is that makes the red hand brake light come off and on?

not a biggy just anoying.

Lift up the handbrake leather gaitor and the microswitch will be obvious on the left hand side of the assembly.

Its only mounted on a thin strip of metal and is easily bent to the right position.
