them little window sensor soor switches !!!!

I know a lot has been written about the sensor ( magnetic) switches in the bottom of the doors that drop the window for door opening / closing but anybody know of a supplier other than the franchised TVR guys? has it got to be TVR ? any suppliers there that can post me one ? out in the sticks here so doesnt matter where you are.

You need RS Components, and part no. 455-3744, this switch can be NC or NO, TVR use Normally closed circuit, so ignore the green wire and just use the white (common) and the brown. They are £6.72 + VAT each. If you have an account P&P is free otherwise it's £4.95 I believe.

If you need the magnetic bit, then they are exactly the same size as magnets that are used on white boards etc., available from office world. Just remove the plastic bit, and araldite in.

thanks for magnet info - just to prove is switch - have swopped switch from left to right and problem has moved from left to right !!!
