Never thought about it due to having a charging system built into my garage.

Why would you want this with a trickle charger?

If you're 200 miles from home, you'd need a long extension lead for a trickle charger.

You might be two hundred miles from home but I bet you arn't twenty meters from the nearest socket outlet

Besides if its the car park thing, just stick a battery in the boot and have a set of jump leads.

If its the sound system surely upgrade the alternator?

The alternantor wouldnt sort it out as its a sudden high power usage rather than constant power drain.

Used to have a MGZS with a "loudish" system and the bass thump would blow a 60amp fuse
I've grown up a bit now
