Car is in bodyshop bing painted after Light mod etc. Now told me they have had the colour matcher in and can't match it (its a red/burgandy pearl). They said after speaking to TVR only 6 cars were done in this colour and it was silver with red over the top and it can't be matched. So I either go as close as they can or I re-spray whole car, but what colour?

If I re-spray it can go any colour so can't decide what to go for, normal paint or flip or whatever. Don't think trying to get close will look right, what does anyone think?

Any ideas for colours?

Thanks my friend just gave that colour the thumbs up from your profile

Does anyone know of any companies/websites that supply special paints or show pics of cars with special paints on?

I'd be a bit miffed that this wasn't explored prior to the headlight conversion. Unless of course they are willing to do it at a vastly reduced price.

Start trawling the Cerbera register website and see if any colours take your fancy.

It also depends a great deal on your interior colour too.

Don't know what the colour is. Interior is a dark grey.

Was planning on adding gold badges and doing calipers gold. Saw a T350 near work with a black paint job with different colour metallic bits it, looked very nice but I think a too darker colour will hide the shapes of the car.

Edited to add: I like the colour of this one www.pistonheads.com/sales/66978.htm

I understand that a few reds are difficult to match. The sun affetcs the red colour on some too.

Go for Yellow Yellow Yellow all round

Sounds like Rosso Pearl to me.

I think this is the product by RM Paints in France. I was worried that mu car was Rosso Pearl, and in fact a TVR Bodyshop told me it was Rosso Pearl. Well it turns out to be Cherry Red Pearl, which is a Rover Colour.

Its very close to Rosso Pearl, see my profile.

Not sure as don't have them with me. Apparently its called 'Burgundy Wine'??? Silver with Cherry on top and only half dozen done in this colour. Been spectrum analysed with no good match. Think Cherry Pearl will be closest.

Neil.

Imperial Blue is nice (I'm biased).

Or at least people always seem to say so, including the AA Man when he came to take it away ;-(

Sort of a mixture of blue and purple.
