Digital Oil Pressure Guage...

Anyone come up with a digital Oil pressure gauge for the Cerb as yet. I know Austec were working on a digital gauge with controller for the temperature and fans cut in, but one for the oil would be good to support the analogue gauge.

You could always just fit one? try demon tweaks, they have a great range of gauges...

Oil Temp & oil pressure are on my to list, but havent figured out how to integrate them yet, they aren't difficult to fit. As for digital, raceline are meant to be very good, and i know kit car owners who have used them with good results...

I have the fan controller/digital water temp - it fits in place of the Ashtray. Now looking for a combined oil temp and pressure gauge - ideally to replace the water temp and oil pressure gauge and retain the original look.

We had problems with these gauges on two track only cossies and a tuned up GTO both times the temp gauge was a mile out and the boost gauges were very slow to react.

I think these are more aimed at the tuned saxo or similar looking for the digital race look rather than a real racer or high vibration engine like what we've got. If you look in the Demon Tweeks Professional Motorsport Equipment Catelog there not in it but you will find them in their regular catelog.

In my opinion if your changing what you've already got to try and be more accurate and keep an eye on your engine then spend a bit more money on some decent ones.

Steve, one of the surrey lot has got the oil temp guage where the clock is. This is on my to do list.

I have some Defi ones (but there in the subaru). They are expensive but look nice and are apparaently very accurate.

The SPA dual digital gauges are very nice indeed. I know that I've seen one Cerb with a dual water temp/oil pressure gauge fitted.

It's Neilus on PH who had it done. Joolz did the install for him and I gather it's a useful improvement over standard since he also fitted an oil thermostat - I've no idea why these aren't standard equipment tbh. I'm going with the oil temp and pressure on one gauge because I have an alternative means to monitor water temp. It does mean I'll have a non standard car, but since the water temp reading is more accurate I'm keeping it. It's a good way of calming the paranoia in the baking hot sun at Le Mans.

Spa are excellent as you would expect for the price that they charge. I have the chronometric tacho and digital speedo in my race car. It gives you 0-60, standing quarter mile times, tell tale max rev, highest speed etc. Cost around £320.

Would look awaful in a cerb but I love mentioning the fact that I have one!

I've used Autometer full sweep electronic ones where the centre cubby hole was.

Those are excellent ones. Have you seen the central control box for those with the heads up display? Very tasty

You could fit these to a cerb easy.
