This either gives me hope that Cerbs aren't seen as propping up the prices of Tuscans and people can see the value in the Cerbera as a car in it's own right (in comparison to later TVR models). Or i'm concerned that it's the start of slippery slope down to residual hell

or it could be someone shifting a Tuscan as quick as possible, but that makes for a rubbish forum argument.

I started A thread about the £10k one thats on there, had a bump but not on the register.

Bargains, high miler on Autotrader at £14k aswell.

I've never really thought it was the case that Cerb prices propped up those of the Tuscan. They're both great cars but in my opinion very different and as such attract a different sort of owner.
The Cerb has never had any 'real' bad press on the reliability front however the Tuscan (and it's a shame) has.
I think the Speed 6 is a fabulous engine however up until quite recently it hasn't done the resale of most Tuscans's any favours, fingers crossed that's all in the past and faith along with residuals will be restored.
I just don't think Cerbs suffer from the same stigma of reliablily as Tuscan's and for that reason don't really see their prices being linked.

I think you'll find any of the speed six engined cars suffer from lower re sale values, Cerbs included.

I wouldn't say Tuscan values are being propped up by Cerberas at all, the sheer number of Tuscans around (combined with paranoia of the engines) mean that values will be low unless you've a pristeen example, excellent colour combination Tuscan S (or Red Rose) to sell. Otherwise why would an educated buyer bother, as they know they can look at PH/AutoTrader and the like until a good car in the spec they want turns up.

When we were looking to trade to a trade a while back, a friend's fully laden 4.0 2003 Tuscan with very recent rebuild at TVR Power (under warranty), recent full respray and full dealer service history was valued less than my 2002 Cerbera with front-end acne and independant history since my purchase of it.
