Its the one in my profile.

Selling as I need the money, simple as that.

Just had a 60,000 mile service, recent clutch, pads and so on. The only down side to her is the stone chips on the front. I have had a quote of £500 to sort these out.

Let me know if you are interested, I expect she will be on ebay by April.

Ebay is a weird place for selling prestige and sports cars. I wouldn't expect the bids to come close to what i'd want (except in very rare cases) however it's a good place to get your car under a lot of noses and you can probably do a deal with somebody off of ebay.

another 96 cerbie just made £10,100 on flea-bay seems strange people are even putting their reserves lower now to sell, the one that just went was its 3rd try

I think you'd have to be touched to buy a TVR of all things off eBay. I don't think failure to make reserve on eBay has any bearing on the market for Cerberas.

I may be pushed this route soon. I have had the car for sale for nearly 3 months and not a sniff.

Even though I first saw my car on ebay, the deal that we arrived at was off auction. I agree that with prestige or potentially expensive to repair cars, ebay isn't the best guide as I don't think many people have got the balls or the wallets to be bidding blind.

Saying that, it wouldn't suprise me that offers post auction are made on these cars where at least the buyer has the chance of walking away if something herrendous is found without running the risk of getting into negative feedbck realms.

I just bought a 97 cerbera for £10,400 with 48000 miles on clock fsh...bloody wonderful car (sold my UK spec Supra twin turbo to get it) I bought that off ebay. It's going in for a major service, I'm very happy with it, especially as it should have cost £13500...Ebay's a god send

It's good for buters, not so good for us sellers.

I have sold two TVRs on ebay in the last 12 months.

Okay, maybe not in the Cerb echelons, but both lovely straight cars.

Yes, I (knowingly) accepted less than they were worth, but I just can't bear all the tyrekickers.

I am now looking for an honest Cerb though.
