Will a SP6 silencer fit a 1996 4.2?

Hello chaps

Just wondered if a Speed 6 rear silencer fit a 1996 4.2 ?

I have read in the archives that the later 4.5 silencer is of a better design than the original 4.2 so would the SP6 one be like the later 4.5 ?

the pipes are wider apart on teh SP6 version, you might be able to get it to fit .. might be worth a gamble if you can find a cheap one .. would only need so welding to get teh pipes in the right position anyway

sorry to be the bearer of bad news the sp6 and 4.2/4.5 rear silencers are different
