Battery Advice

Afternoon, need some advice regarding reconnecting my battery. I have disconnected the battery due to a fawlty relay in my lights resulting in the lights flickering even when the engine is switched off and a subsequent drained battery. I know how to get back into the car without any power but was wondering when reconnecting the battery whether there was anything I should be aware off i.e the alarm and imobiliser.

When i disconneted mine, nothing much happened at all, save for the alarm going off but only until i turned it off with the key fob.

I guess make sure the doors are open and the keys in your pocket, or you may find yourself locked out!

Whenever I reconnect mine it just arms the alarm, just have your fob handy.
