Oh yes
suprisingly well!!
I've only got a pair of 10yr old kenwood 300w 10" subs with an equally old kenwood amp 600w (i think). And it sounds amazing!! And the hole thing just unplugs and lifts out if you need the space.
I did think about cutting a few holes in the bit above the fuel tank, behind the helmet holder, to help let the sound through, but to be honest I dont think i need to.
Feel free to ask for a demo at any of the meetings.
The good thing is its all hidden aswell.

nice one
The V8 sounds nice, but so does a bit of thumping base.
As far as i know there are different size boxes, so dont get one that is too big.
Edited to add: I can still get my daughters pushchair in mine, and a few bags of tesco's.
I'll post a pic later. (not of the tesco's
)

Thats mighty impressive !
Will be good to hear a Cerb with a stereo you can actually hear.
Since de-catting our car (already had a loud sports exhaust) I may as well remove the stereo & speakers etc to save weight - you can't hear a b
y thing in there anymore !
Mind you, it does make a GREAT noise !

I've got a 5K system in mine and have hand no problems with wiring at all!
I dont blast it like the nippers do with there drum and bass but I do like a bit of RnB again not at stupid levels. If its all wired correctly and the power is taken direct from the battery with the right size of cable there shouldn't be a problem.
My dash lights do strobe effects when its turned up and the lights, heaters and rear screen demister are on but thats nothing to worry about.

Where did in the car did you run the power cable? any pics of your setup?
the only difference may be that mine is10k or 5k with one sub rms power not peak power. the peak power is 16k. the amp itself is around £4800 from the us. each sub coming in at around £1800 import only.
its silly really(but sounds great)!
Ive actually put one in tonight. turned the amp down to 1/4 power and dropped the sub down to 1 ohm. its in the boot amnd sounds ok. the bass is a little bit distant though. better than nothing!!!

Power cable is from the battery through the fire wall/bulkhead in to the dash then ran under the centre piece into the boot.

The sub is a pioneer SPL5000 and is capable of 5000 watts RMS not peak and I've used cerwin vegas up front with 100 watts RMS. Fronts are powered direct from the Pioneer competition 9000 series head unit and the sub powered from a Rockford 'D' class mono amp capable of over 1500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms.
Its not set up as a banging system to just give bass. The system is set up to give a nice smooth sweet surround sound. It can detect the cars own enviroment and has full Real time analising so all the sound from the speakers hit you at the right time and can be changed from the head unit for just the driver or any other seat position or all positions.
And being honest I never paid what you have for your amp for my full system and I think it sounds excellent! In my opion anyway.
