Keeping a Cerb tuned?!

I'm looking at a 4.2 next weekend and I've heard a few Cerb owners say they have trouble keeping their cars running well.

Do AJP8's have a reputation for requiring regular fettling (ie not just at every 6k service) to keep them right?

If this IS the case - can the same be said of the S6?

Or have I just been speaking to the wrong people!!??

Mines just about to go in for its major service so was last serviced 6000miles ago. The only thing I have noticed is that at 3200rpm there is a slight hesitation on a medium or heavy throttle. That's it so far. Started doing it a few hundred miles ago.

I won't take that as an insult!

Really depends on what you've had done to the car I guess, mine was running like a dog, after several problems with cats' and over fueling, the problem I've been having with tuning is that it's the first time I've tried to fettle the car, and I've found it more difficult that I initially thought it was going to be.

I would assume that as most cars only cover a relatively low mileage that they would be tuned at service if they needed it.

PS - I'd want to use as a daily drive (though wouldn't have to rely on it being 100% available!) - not huge mileage though - probably 7k ish per year.
