Anybody else weighed their Cerb ?

I've read a couple of times about the Cerb's power & weight being A tad optimistic, 4.2 360 bhp & 1100 kg, so I decided to weigh it on Saturday.
I took it to A local weigh bridge at A waste disposal company, they assure me that it's accurate to within 10kg & that they have it calibrated every month.
With no one in the car & a third of a tank of fuel, the car came in at a respectable 1040kg.
Is that going to be correct ?

A public weighbridge is accurate to three divisions, not to 10kg.
Most public weighbridges work in divisions of 20kg, although some do work in units of 10kg.
Therefore, to be classified as a public weighbridge (which allows the operator to charge for weighing and also to invoice from the weights taken from the bridge) most bridges only need to be accurate to +/- 60kgs.
Please don't take the word of the weighbridge operator .... few of them are aware of the regulations governing weighbridges.
That said, they are far more accurate than a dynamic weighbridge or weighpads. Both of these are heavily reliant on the way in which they are used. (Dynamic bridges on the vehicle being driven over at a constant, slow speed and weighpads on being set on ground that is absolutely level).
Your car could weigh as much as 1100kg or as little as 980kg. Either way ... it sounds like a lot of power pushing along a very little weight.

Not much point in quoting TVR is you want accurate figures (e.g. 420 bhp) ....

1st I took it' to have it re gassed but it didn't need doing, as the motor wasn't engaging. Some weeks later on a hot day, on the motorway, I pressed the button & it clicked in & started working.
I've recently had the engine out & had the air con re gassed & it's stopped working again.
I'm going to go down the "periodically turning it on & off routine" that worked last time.
Seems like the cheapest option, or I can always pay someone £50 an hour for them to mess about with it & tell me it's knackered..... so many choices....what to do.....

With the lightest engine in modern years (although it probably weights less than alot of the classic TVR's engines too!)
