Rear UJ on half shaft question

Just had a fault diagnosed by Silverstone Performance. I took the car along to them as I wasn't sure the problem would wait until the major service.
AFter a test drive and getting it up on the 4 post ramp, Matt diagnosed a failing UJ on the Rear N/S half shaft at the diff end.
Syptoms for anyone else who might have the problem in the future is a whirring noise above 30mph that virtually dissappears at 90mph! It sounds similar to a worn diff or a knackered wheel bearing. It also makes the 'donking' noise when you turn in a certain direction (right in my case) similar to when the diff bushes are worn.
Anyway, my question is, other than TVR where can I source a new UJ? Is it a seperate part to that of the half-shaft or are they a complete Unit? Should have asked Matt that one. I figured that it is probably a generic UJ and there might be scope for a small saving. Anyone had the same part replaced with a TVR sourced part, If so, How much?

The parts discount varies from part to part. If you phone them up and ask for a price, then ask them what the price is after a Ford discount(they won't ask for ID for this), you'll know if it's worth chasing the discount.
If the discount is worth it then maybe, just possibly, there might be a slight chance that someone on here might be able to help out. posibly maybe. hehe!!

I might need them myself, I get the donking, not the whirring, but I do feel like there is excessive play somewhere in the drive system.

I am referring to the CV joint not the UJ (I'm always getting the two mixed up). It's the joint at the diff end of the half-shaft covered with a rubber gaieter/boot.
Is it still the Granada part or have I confused people into giving info on the prop UJ?
