Doors are easy, you could do them yourself. Look for "Anyone retrimmed thier car" or similar titled thread that was up recently. Pics of my work in there.

Roof is another matter however, to do it properly a lot has to come out.

Woollies do a good alcantara type material which I've used for the doors, rear parcel shelf and roof. As far as the roof goes, I simply glued it onto the carpet which has worked fine!!

I must be doing something wrong (or maybe i'm stupid). I've searched on 'anyone retrimmed thier car' and the only link it finds is this one. Can you do me a favour and post a link to the original thread.

there is a guy from Matrim Upholsterers selling black and Beige Alcantatra on e-bay seems to be at a discounted price also.

just search under Alcantara.

I'm intrested in doing this job also so would be good to see any pictures and info from people who have done re-trimming..

"OK Class 3B, your spelling is atrocious! so 100 lines for each of you. Now write down 100 times, "It is ALACANTRA, not Alcantara, nor Alcantatra". (And if you prefer caning, then see my Missus!)
