Fault code Christmas tree!

Mil light intermittently coming on recently led to hooking up to a PC for diagnosis. Turned out that every single one of the fault codes was triggered, making it particularly difficult to narrow down the particular fault.
To cut a long story short, the connections to both Lambda sensors were a bit cruddy (have had a leaky windscreen seal so that mightg have contributed), so they were cleaned up. However, the Mil light was still coming on, and fault codes still being triggered.
One of the Lambda sensors has since been replaced (foc by David Gerald) and, and this is the interesting bit, extra earth installed from the engine, upon consultation with the factory. The latter reckon that insufficient earthing can lead to all of the fault codes being triggered.
Wanted to post this in case it might be of help to anyone else experiencing the same Christmas tree effect with their fault codes!
