Any idea car why won't lock replaced battery in key fob still no luck. Car not picking up signal.
Are you sure you havent damaged any of the internals in the fob while you were installing the battery? On my fob the battery is soldered in.
Did you battery go flat?
Had this with a previous car?
If so you will have to disconnect it again and keep your button pressed in when you reconnect it.
Worth a try
One thing you might try, and I know it sounds stupidly simple, is to keep your finger on the fob button, rather than pressing and releasing it. I found this to be helpful for me.
Tried all of above except new key fob. Any other ideas
