Kids seats in Cerbs

Am thinking of selling my kids seat from the cerb - one of the £199 recaro start jobbies.
Hopefully can get £100 for it 2nd hand. Is that optimstic?
Made me think though - what will happen when they bring the new laws in re all kids under 12 must use a child seat. No way can they in my cerb once they are 5 yrs old !!! So useless back seats for kids under 12 who are too large for a child seat in the cerb.

You try telling my 9 year old she has to use a booster seat and she'll throw a fit. She wouldn't use one in the voyager, in the cerb not a chance, its a tight enough fit for her now and she's not big for her age.

My son is 11 and it won't be long before being in the back is too uncomfortable for him.

I am sure you could argue that the Cerb rear seats WERE special kids seats, couldn't you!?

I got £80 for a s/h Recaro Start (with extras and instruction manual), sold it on eBay as there were no takers on PH

Packing it up to ship is a bit of a bugger though (unless you still have the box!)

Can you actually get a booster seat for the Cerbera? Where from? The one I have got does not fit and my 4yr old lad sits in the front, while his fed up mother sits in the back!!

The law doesn't say they have to be in a booster seat, but properly restrained.

My 4 yr old is in the back, I then use a seat belt adjustor to hold the belt away from his neck. Sorted.

I have the full original child seat with the bar that fits to the floor.A section fits over that which makes the back seat larger.Any child seat fits on that.Never used it.
