Thought I'd post a selection of pictures from my recent work on the Yellow Machine.

It's by no means finished and some bits are tatty but here ya go.

Yep, takes up a lot of space this trimming lark. Large space for the carpets then you need constant access to the car really. Most of it is back to gether now. Was working till 3am last night (on night shift at the mo boooo).

It's a good chance to sort all the little niggly problems too, mu steering wheel control unit had fallen off it's sticking place etc. ECU's in the footwell were a jumble.

Just the amp mounts to finish, build the sub box, wire in the power and refit the seats. da daaa!

Trouble is I really want to change my interior colur scheme

goner be costly problems come on anything that would need stitching
then I worry if whoever soes it will get it looking as good as new??

tbh you can get away without stitching any or it.

There are I'd say, three bits that show. The emegency handle holes and the sections by the rear seat.

The only other bit is the parcel shelf bit but I have got round that with a bit of formed Ali.

Im very impressed,but it looks a bit beyond me.im gona see if i can find a trimmers to do it.Any idea on how much to do two doors a parcel shelf and roof lining?

No idea tbh. Took me the equivelent of 2 working days to to do the doors and the parcel shelf. The roof shouldn't be anymore than another day really.

That was working in a garage on a 20 year old workmate, in bad light after working a full day, so a trimmers should be able to do it quicker. Materials cost about £60-£70 using Alacantara.

i'm contemplating replacing the carpets on mine, i love the interior but the carpets let it down a little .Any idea how much carpet i'll need?

I used 2 off 2m x 2m squares.

Longbow used 7m x 1m strip I think.

As a rough idea.
