tvr cerbera body kits

hi all, ive got a nice cerbera for every day use, but i am looking to buy an older one as well as the one i have but then put a body kit on it, make it suitable for racing etc. does anyone know of any body kits for the cerbera? or where i could get one from?

any feed back would be great.

Presumably this after you have spent a fortune on making it stop, go round corners and grip the track?

Speed costs, how fast do you want to spend?

There are no bodykits for a Cerbera - thank God!

What sort of racing did you have in mind?

Might be worth contacting christof (runs TVR Germany) as his Cerb had a body kit.

I'm intrigued as to what kind of racing requires a body kit? Or do you just want it to look box-arched, like a Zakspeed capri, so that you can increase the front and rear track and put fat tyres on?

The only Cerby I remember racing was the Rollcentre one. If I remember the article, once the body roll got too much the aerodynamics of the car changed significantly.

when i say body kit, just something like the le mans cars:

in short its only going to be a toy or project for me to thrash rounds tracks for fun rather than using the 360 or my 4.2 cerbera.

so just looking to buy something i dont have to worry too much about for a bit of fun, i will probably only get it out the garage a few times a year.

I'd say get a lairy seven for tracks to be honest. The cerb is quite a heavy beastie for the track, so will do lots of pads and tyres. Good fun but a caterfield would be more fun. I fancy dropping the AJP8 in a 7 type car. That'd be a proper missile!

I've been toying the idea of a Dax Rush with an AJPv8 engine and buying a "sh@gger" of a Cerb as a doner for the rest of the kit. I have seen a Rv8 (think it was Chim) used and beleive it to be rather quick. But TBH the thought of a Dax Cerb is food for thought.

unless of course you want to build a speed 12 !!!
