Nothing to do with the sound of your car, it's your taste in music she doesn't like.
I can tell she is trying to tell you "dad, you have rubbish music in your car, it stops me from hearing all those pops and bangs on overrun, can you turn the c.d off so i can hear the lovely sound of your fantastic TVR engine that i tell all my schoolfriends about everyday so that i can sleep very well at night knowing my dad has a lovely car"

When younger my daughters love the decated sports zort on my Cerbera, only problem now is that they have a hearing problem at the ages of 8 and 4 years!
They keep telling me the car's not as loud as it use to be which is a bit of a give away, as well as they shout rather than talk now.

Recaro Start, Got mine on ebay for about £60 but it is a rather gaudy example, the nicer plain colours always go that bit higher.

Reading the threads, I was about to mention noise levels. I dont have a TVR but I had a test drive once in the Cerbera when it came out, and yes it was loud. Seriously if they are that loud inside, take care of your childrens hearing, yours is probably shot anyway.
What they call "Noise Induced Hearing Loss" cannot be cured with a hearing aid, it is permanent, nowt you can do about it. Thats why I chuckle to myself when these kids go past with their tinted windows vibrating with zillions of amps, cool! maybe, but they will suffer serious hearing loss in a few short years.
Incidently are they that loud inside?

Not sure if your comment is aimed at mine, I was just trying to be helpfull, having attended a number of training courses on "Noise at Work", I was just trying to pass on some of my knoweldge, which the average punter wouldnt be aware of, thats all!
If you are going to 'scare' people then why dont you add some info that is actually helpful eg number of decibels
