Yeah, the collective seems to be able to answer most things.

The value of Steve's books is not that he comes up with new answers, but that he collects the most useful information together and presents it nice and clearly. The trick (which he pulls off rather well IMO) is to sort the mountains of misinformation to pick out the bits that are accurate and relevent. I hate to think how much time goes into these books but I suspect it's heading into thousands rather than hundreds of hours.

Oh for sure, without doubt steve is a great collector of information.I wasn't trying to devalue teh time he spends collating it all together, just that in the meantime all that information can probably be found on ph if you have the time to look .. for everyone else there's mastercard and SHP

I met Steve at Tower View last week. The rolling chassis was up on ramps minus engine. I had a quick chat and he's hoping to get it all back together over the next couple of months and has been using the rebuild as source material for the book so that is also ongoing... He did mention that he's not spending much time on Pistonheads, think he's got a lot on at the moment!

The rolling chassis has the engine installed along with the final engine mounts and exhaust headers. The engine has been turned over using the starter with no spark plugs in the engine to check that the adapter plate is ok. The starter engages and disengages with no problems. Sigh of relief all round.

The chassis has been zinced and powder coated. New bushes and bolts have been used with the suspension and a set of Bilsteins fitted with uprated springs. Larger front discs fitted along with new handbrake mechanisms etc. Next stage is to drop the body back, fit the heat shield , re-install the engine and connect it all up. The boxes of bits is getting less in number and the draft book is being used to rebuild the car or to be exact remember where everything is going. The gearbox is also going to be reconned and strengthened - it has done a lot of miles!

If everything goes well... planning to take it to Back Home... maybe.... fingers crossed...

Yes have been very busy as the Supercharged Wedge is also in progress (waiting for special forged pistons to be put into the engine before dyno and setup with supercharger) and drop links have been selling like hot cakes!

Been quiet as I have been getting my head down.

Steve, will any of the specific AJP to LSx conversion info be available at any time in the near future, or is this something that Tower View will keep for their own conversion package?

No. All the parts I have engineered/machined will only be available for the Tower View conversion service. That is in exchange for all the considerable help they have given me.
