Fumes in the cabin?

Ive noticed that ever since ive had my car i get fumes off either the tank or exhaust fumes in the car.It smells pretty bad when i open the boot.Is there some kind of venting i should be looking at i.e something blocked or does any one else suffer this.Thanks for any advice.Mark

Mine is doing that these days - I think my exhaust needs changing.

Mine has done this ever since the decat, I've just lived with it as side-effect really.

However, when it comes to weekends away and the like, my wife isn't keen on putting her best clothes in the boot because when we get there it's smells like she's done a week on the spanners (So we generally end up in another car )

Same problem here. Sainsburys and Tescos carrier bags seem to attract the fumes somehow, but the contents are OK. However, there are no fumes in the cabin so I assume everything's OK.

Maybe thats was causing mine to do it as well.Ive had mine decatted.
