Throttle cable snapped,can i use a donor?

1996 4.2 my throttle cable has snapped not far off the grovved lever it goes through near the left cylindar bank.Can i use one from another car or have i got to go direct to TVR? Cheers for any advice given.Mark

use speedy cables measure how long it is descibe the ends or e-mail a pic
my metro one is 15 ft long cost about £20 while i waited they are in wales now
but do a pukka job mail order???

Cheers guys.Had a bad time with speedy cables sent them a clock to be refurbed off my WW2 jeep,took me 9 months to get it back so i think i will give them a miss,but cheers anyway.

I thought the likes of the AA have a universal kit & just make one for you.

They do, but I would only use it short term...... Just to get me home or to a dealer!
