Funny thing was, I didn't actually hit it. I did do one of those gut churning parking nose onto the kerb and slightly misjudging it - crunch! grazed all the front under the number plate and must have loosened it.


Don't worry the paintwork is easily fixable - thank you Armourfend!

While it's propping up the wall in your garage, would you mind measuring it please...

overall length, width, depth to fold.

That would be a huge help as I need to make a new one, mine dissapeared.

Metric or Imperial?

They are a total waste of time - no difference from what I can tell up to 150 or so.

And if you lower the car at all they will not last 5 minutes on speed bums - bin it or keep for next punter that buys it!

There's definately a difference of opinion here as plenty of owners report that when the splitter is fitted their bonnets don't flap about as much, due to decreased engine bay pressure I guess, and that the car does feel more stable at hight speeds, anyway Jon' yours is a bastardised Chimaera, there are plenty of different factors to yours I guess.

Well the car felt no different handling wise on the M5 this morning and whether it was my imagination or not, the bonnet seemed a lot less animated. My car has the 'tray' over the top of the radiator though as on the lightweights. Don't know if that makes any difference.
