passenger door button

my passenger door button has decided to stop working, but only the inside one, the outside on still works and the led still comes on when i put the lights on....any ideas before i have to learn how to strip off the door cards etc

More than likely corroded contacts within the door. Mine done the same shortly after I bought it and the multiplug in the door was severely corroded. I just cut both multiplugs off and crimped all new connectors.

I'm sure it will all become obvious once your door card is off. Incidentally, it's about 7 allen key screws around and under the door to remove this. Beware of the flying lead connecting the button and speaker wiring to the door too.

ditto - mine has worked intermnittently for the last year or so - just never got round to fixing. Maybe this weekend..........
