Getting closer to buying a Cerb - a few more questions......

After a couple of months drooling over the classifieds I'm getting a bit closer to owning a Cerb

I was wondering if anyone could set me straight on the following questions......


Did they all have power steering, or was this an option?

Likewise, was the adjustable steering column an option?

Is the driver's seat adjustable for height?

Obviously the second two won't be a deciding factor on a purchase, I'm just interested to know

I think they all have PAS but the Power Assist is kept to a minimum to keep the "Feel" of the car very sensitive.

All have power steering, all have adjustable steering column, none have adjustable ceiling height.

I went down that route......years before deciding to buy a cerb, but now it is paying dividends

A few of the very very VERY early ones don't have PAS, but the vast majority will have. Likewise a few early cars had fixed columns, others just have very well hidden levers! I think PAS became standard pretty quickly having been an option early on. Certainly I suspect you'll find 96 onwards, all cars will have it.
