Hello all,
I've had my Cerb (4.2/1997/Sapphire Blue) for about 5 weeks now, having just sold my V8S. Although I haven't posted until now, I've already found this forum to be as friendly and as helpful as the S Club!
I've come into Cerbera ownership with my eyes open. I bought the car knowing that an inspection would throw up some faults that would need fixing. It did - but mercifully there weren't that many.
I booked the car in for a suspension upgrade (incl. the new Steve Heath Cerbera droplinks), however, on the way to Castle Combe last weekend (just 5 days before it was due to go into the garage) the clutch slave cylinder went kaputt. OK so that's just one more thing to add to the list then. No worries
It's in now being looked after - can't wait to get it back!

Just one question (for now). Sometimes when I'm driving along with the window half down it will suddenly decide to go all the way up for no apparent reason. Anyone else had this? Or is there a poltergeist in the car playing with the electric window buttons?

Yes, my window will occasionaly decide to close itself for no apparrent reason! However what very few people know is that some Cerberas are fitted with a very sophisticated 'AQP' system (Air Quality Protection). It analyses the air quality 200 metres ahead of the car, and will close the windows if it detects anything out of the ordinary, for example if a Farmer has just finished Muck spreading his field, it detects this, and then closes the window to protect you from the smell, the fact that you think the window is at fault, is actually a testament to the success of the system, I bet you never smelt anything at all did you, so therefire the AQP is functioning normally, you have nothing to worry about.
